Squarespace is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our team. We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable working with pricing and revenue data, then building and enacting strategy from it. You have experience with go-to-market pricing, testing pricing models at a SaaS company, or as a financial or business analyst.

Our pricing team is new to the product marketing organization, which values communicating the core benefits of the Squarespace platform to all its customers, driving new product adoption, and working cross-functionally to message, position, and go to market with Squarespace products and features. You are passionate about researching complex revenue streams and consumer data, and have a knack for pricing impact analysis.

This can be based in our headquarters in New York or remotely and reports to the Group Product Marketing Manager of Platform Growth

You’ll Get To…

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to test various hypotheses about the efficacy or detriment of existing and proposed business models; pricing and packaging structure; and general market behavior
  • Monitor consumer spending habits for trends or patterns that could affect current pricing strategy
  • Identify areas for pricing improvement and develop tests to validate pathways for improvement
  • Establish and design a price testing function that’s scalable to the future of the platform
  • Research and propose tests and functional improvements that will bring new pricing practices to market
  • Build out and validate pricing tests through price testing function
  • Partner with promotional and checkout teams to improve pricing efficacy and merchandising
  • Work with Customer Value to quantify churn
  • Track competitive pricing and infer strategies behind competitive pricing
  • Analyse bundling and add-on opportunities and provide guidance for balance of revenue/adoption through bundles and add-ons
  • Work in concert with Pricing GTM Strategist to push projects forward

Who We’re Looking For

  • 3-4 years of pricing, business, or finance analysis in SaaS or a related field
  • Experiencing partnering with Finance, Product, and Customer Value teams to drive strategy
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL or Python
  • Able to synthesize complex data and present to stakeholders
  • Comfortable growing out a new program
  • Experience using mathematical models on internal and external data sets
  • Track record of recognizing and reporting on internal and industry trends
  • Familiar with database management, processing tools
