About the roleStarburst Data is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and delivering strategic projects that contribute to the success of Starburst Data and its clients. This role requires a combination of strong project management skills, technical acumen, and effective communication abilities.
As a Senior Project Manager at Starburst you will:
- Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring successful execution within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and sales, to drive project success.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide recommendations to the leadership team.
- Establish clear lines of communication within the project team and with key stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates, status reports, and escalate issues as needed.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and align with Starburst Data's commitment to excellence.
- Interface with clients to understand their requirements and expectations, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations based on industry best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the project management function.
Some of the things we look for:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the technology sector, preferably in data analytics or related fields.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.

The salary range provided for this role reflects the minimum and maximum targets for candidates across all U.S. locations and could be inclusive of variable compensation, such as commission or bonus.
