What We're Looking For
Stytch is the platform for user authentication. We create products that make interacting with authentication a delightful experience, both for developers and for customers. As an Accountant, you’ll be a key player in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our rapidly growing organization. This role combines precision, collaboration, and innovation to maintain our financial systems and processes. You will be our first in-house accountant responsible for helping us scale our Finance team!
This is a hybrid, full-time position based in the SF Bay Area. We aren’t looking for someone to be in-office 5 days per week, but are looking for someone who is excited to collaborate in-person on a weekly basis (2-3 days per week in-office).

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial statements.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
- Oversee both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance and streamline audit processes.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Work on special projects to enhance our financial systems and support business goals.
Expected base salary $95,000-$130,000. The anticipated base salary range is not inclusive of full benefits including equity, health care insurance, time off, paid parental leave, etc. This base salary is accurate based on information at the time of posting. Actual compensation for hired candidates will be determined using a number of factors including experience, skills, and qualifications.
