Our founding team has backgrounds working with spreadsheets every day at high growth software companies, building realtime multiplayer applications, and contributing to well known open source libraries, helping founding teams make sense of their numerical data.

What we're looking for

You have designed, built, and maintained production-grade software using modern frameworks. You are able to quickly learn new frameworks/technologies and moving across the stack when necessary. You are excited about working on a small team and helping us set the long-term vision for our engineering organization. You care more about solving customers' problems and building a delightful experience than about using a particular technology to do it. You have strong communication skills, and 2+ years of relevant experience.

About the Role

You'll be an early engineer, with the opportunity to have a material impact on our product, culture, and business trajectory. You'll be shipping major features often, iterating on those features, and building out our core infrastructure.

Qualifications

Experience shipping web apps with modern tools like Typescript, React.js, Redux, and Webpack, as well as technologies like Firebase, PostgreSQL, and Node on the backend. Familiarity with security best practices for modern web apps. Attention to detail Excellent communication skills Deep understanding of technology Proven record of shipping features on time and on budget Flexible and focussed on solutions Organized and self-sufficient Bonus: Familiarity with Excel or Google sheets
