Descriptif du poste

The Data team at Swile is responsible for monetizing data assets. We do this in a number of ways such as by enabling better decision making, improving operations and efficiencies, reducing risk, building data products and features, and more.

To achieve this we have a multidisciplinary team composed of Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, and Data Analysts covering the entire data value chain from data ingestion to data exploitation across all teams at Swile (Business, Product, Marketing, Finance)

The role of the Analytics team is to use data to generate business outcomes through data analysis and statistical studies. This could be through definition of metrics and KPI that enable optimization, improving our products through A/B testing, optimizing our marketing spend, or our sales funnel, and much more.

Profil recherché

As Head of Analytics you will :

  • Lead, grow, and develop a growing team of 5+ data analysts across multiple geographies, through excellent hiring practices, coaching, team processes, and more.
  • Build a sophisticated analytics function that can adapt to the growing needs of Swile as we expand into new countries and we enrich our product portfolio
  • Be a Strategic Partner: Act as a thought leader alongside business, engineering and product partners. Collaborate to develop and evolve our vision for revenue and advertiser growth, improve the quality of our product and enhance platform monetization through rigorous analysis and opportunity sizing
  • Drive Rigor and Velocity: Drive a team that yields high quality and actionable results, while maintaining the right balance between velocity and rigor

Our Ideal Candidate is/has :

  • 6+ years of experience in analytics, including 3+ years in management
  • Excellent communication and ability to convey complex topics in a simple way
  • Expertise with SQL queries, ETL, A/B Testing, and statistical analysis (e.g. hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions) with statistical packages, such as Python, Matlab or R
  • Strong collaboration skills to partner with business leaders across functions
  • Ability to prioritize and build a roadmap for the team focusing on business outcomes
  • Background in Math, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or other quantitative studies
