What is Sylvera anyway?

In less than a year, Sylvera has secured investment from Europe’s top VC fund, built partnerships with some of the world’s biggest companies, carbon exchanges & academic institutions, and built an extraordinary team.

Sylvera is bringing transparency to the opaque voluntary carbon markets by using satellite data and machine learning algorithms to accurately assess the impact of carbon offset projects. This transparency will catalyse exponential growth in a market which is critical to addressing climate change.

What will I be doing?

We are lucky to have an amazing roster of tier 1 global enterprise clients from industries like technology, strategy consulting, aviation, agriculture, financial services, and oil & gas, and are rapidly scaling our client base across every major industrial sector. We are looking for an exceptional person to lead our client success activities to help these clients thrive.

You will be working with our VP Commercial Development to deliver impact with every interaction you have with our clients, and you will play a critical role in our rapidly scaling revenue engine.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating an evangelical enterprise client base, who are excited to share their story with the market
  • Building strong personal connections with each of the clients you own
  • Developing deep understanding of our clients’ needs, and identifying ways to deliver solutions that drive impact
  • Building strong internal partnerships (in particular with Marketing, Policy, and Product) to develop client-facing programmes that deliver impact at scale
  • Creating and refining scalable processes that capture client requests and requirements
  • Achieving best-in-class net revenue retention
  • Developing good understanding of all commercial aspects of the carbon markets - from key players, to market trends, prices, policy, and regulatory issues

  • Can demonstrate an outstanding track record of creating an evangelical client base with enterprise clients
