Itโ€™s an exciting time to join Tactile. We're a diverse team of storytellers, puzzle enthusiasts and casual mobile game creators. Our story began in 2008 in the heart of beautiful Copenhagen, and since then we have experienced continuous growth, establishing ourselves as one of the largest gaming companies in Denmark. In more recent years, we have been scaling fast, in big part thanks to the success of a little game called Lilyโ€™s Garden. Now weโ€™re on a mission to solidify our position as one of the leaders in creating out-of-the-ordinary casual puzzle games.

With more than 300 talented individuals, we are a mix of over 40 nationalities and 43% women. We truly appreciate the richness of different experiences and perspectives that Tactilers bring to the game. This is why we foster a lean organisational culture, in which each individual is encouraged to take responsibility, be open and grow in their own way. We pride ourselves in cultivating a studio environment that stays away from crunch, that fosters your skills no matter what your discipline is, and one that gives you a place to be creative alongside other passionate and invested storytellers.

๐Ÿš€ Your role & impact:

We are currently growing our Game teams and are on the search for a Game Lead to join one of our teams of passionate product specialists, designers, engineers and artists working on our products (old & new!). As the head of your game team, you will oversee all aspects of game development, from conceptualization to launch and live ops, ensuring commercial success and exceptional player experiences. This role reports directly to our Head of Product, the amazing Izzy. You'll also be working closely with the rest of our leadership team in setting the high-level strategy for your game.

This role is based in our beautiful Copenhagen office, as we truly believe that when talented people work closely together, amazing things happen! We therefore offer full relocation support to those coming from outside of Denmark.

Okay, letโ€™s get a little bit more specific. Hereโ€™s what youโ€™ll be doing on the day-to-day as one of our Game Leads:

  • ๐Ÿš€ Strategic Leadership - Define and execute the game's roadmap, vision and strategy, aligning with the company's goals and market trends. Lead cross-functional teams including live ops, product, level design, art and programming to achieve project milestones and KPIs. Work closely with marketing, user acquisition and the company leadership team to create a cross team strategy to take the game to the next level.
  • ๐Ÿ’œ Product Management and live ops - Continuously analyze game data to optimize performance, player retention, and monetization strategies.
  • ๐ŸŽฎ Game Development Oversight - Work closely with the production team to ensure the game's development is on schedule, and meets the highest quality standards. Facilitate agile development practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • ๐Ÿ“ˆ Market Analysis - Stay on top of industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities. Leverage insights to inform the product roadmap and live operations strategy.
  • ๐ŸŒฑ Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team. Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and innovative work environment that attracts and retains top talent.

What weโ€™re looking for:

  • Previous experience in leading a game project of larger scale and managing a cross-functional game team
  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player behavior and market trends in the mobile gaming space.
  • A deep knowledge of free to play mobile casual games.
