It’s an exciting time to join Tactile. We're a diverse team of storytellers, puzzle enthusiasts and casual mobile game creators. Our story began in 2008 in the heart of beautiful Copenhagen, and since then we have experienced continuous growth, establishing ourselves as one of the largest gaming companies in Denmark. In more recent years, we have been scaling fast, in big part thanks to the success of a little game called Lily’s Garden. Now we’re on a mission to solidify our position as one of the leaders in creating out-of-the-ordinary casual puzzle games.
With more than 300 talented individuals, we are a mix of over 40 nationalities and 43% women. We truly appreciate the richness of different experiences and perspectives that Tactilers bring to the game. This is why we foster a lean organisational culture, in which each individual is encouraged to take responsibility, be open and grow in their own way. We pride ourselves in cultivating a studio environment that stays away from crunch, that fosters your skills no matter what your discipline is, and one that gives you a place to be creative alongside other passionate and invested storytellers.

We are on the search for an experienced Unity Gameplay Programmer to join our team of gameplay-focused and technically-minded engineers. As a Gameplay Programmer at Tactile, you will get the opportunity to flex both your design and architecture muscles! Our games are developed using Unity, so we would love you to have extensive knowledge of mobile game development in Unity3D and excellent aesthetic know-how in order to be able to work effectively as a part of a bigger team of game programmers, artists and level designers. We are proud of being a lean organization and we always give out a lot of responsibility to our employees. It is therefore important to us that you are not only very self-driven, open-minded and curious, but that you are also not afraid to be critical (in a constructive way, of course) and to collaborate with your colleagues to find solutions. This role is based in our beautiful Copenhagen office, as we truly believe that when talented people work closely together, amazing things happen! We therefore offer full relocation support to those coming from outside of Denmark.
Okay, let’s get a little bit more specific.

- Implementing new gameplay features based on game designs
- Implementing user interfaces based on artist designs to help improve user experiences
- Maintaining and optimizing existing games
- Contributing fresh ideas to game design
- Analyzing, improving and updating existing systems

What we’re looking for:
- At least 4 years of game programming experience
- Extensive experience with mobile game development in Unity3D (iOS and/or Android)
- Strong knowledge of C#
- Experience in UI/UX, especially making user experiences at an interactive degree
- Excellent game programming knowledge, including math and dynamic skills
- Solid system and architectural thinking
You'll make us extra excited if you also have:
