Summary:

We seek a Senior Marketing Operations and Analytics Manager to lead the collection, analysis, and reporting of marketing data, driving data-driven strategies and business decisions. In this role, you will manage the marketing technology stack, including Marketo, Salesforce, and Segment, ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights that enhance marketing performance and campaign outcomes. Additionally, you will provide senior leadership with strategic recommendations based on in-depth analysis and emerging market trends.

This is an individual contributor (IC) role with the opportunity to significantly impact our organization with room to grow and scale.

What you'll do:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various marketing and sales channels, including digital, social media, email, events, and offline campaigns.
  • Develop, maintain, and own dashboards and reports that track key marketing metrics, such as MQLs and MQRs, Opportunity stages, ROI, conversion rates, LTV/CA,C and payback periods.
  • Establish an attribution methodology that analyzes multiple touchpoints and assigns weighted conversion results for ROI analysis.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to provide visibility into the full customer journey with a focus on key marketing metrics.
  • Present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, as well as regular updates on marketing ops performance and campaign effectiveness.
  • Analyze customer behavior and segmentation to identify target audiences and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop data-driven strategies that align with overall business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including RevOps, Sales, Product, and Finance, to ensure alignment and consistency in marketing efforts.
  • Utilize marketing analytics tools such as Marketo, SFDC, Segment, Omni/Looker, Google Analytics, etc to gather and analyze data.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in marketing technology and analytics tools, industry trends and competition activities.
  • Lead the integration and optimization of our marketing technology stack and work with data engineering to maintain a single source of truth for data.
  • Oversee the daily operations of our marketing automation platform (Marketo).
  • Ensure data integrity and seamless integration between Marketo and Salesforce.
  • Design and maintain the data schema to ensure robust data architecture and flow across marketing systems.

What you'll bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing operations, or a similar role, with a deep understanding of marketing data, reporting, and technology stacks
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and experience ensuring seamless integration between them
  • Excellent analytical skills with a track record of interpreting data to inform business decisions and optimize marketing strategies
  • Experience developing and maintaining dashboards using tools such as Looker, Tableau, Omni or similar platforms, with strong proficiency in SQL to query databases and track key marketing metrics
  • A collaborative mindset with proven ability to work cross-functionally across marketing, sales, product, and finance teams
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends in marketing technology and analytics
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, data science, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Compensation

  • The estimated pay range for this role is $140,000 - 175,000
  • This role is eligible to participate in Temporal's equity plan
Compensation ranges reflect salary and commission compensation (when applicable) across several geographic markets.
