About the role

Transcend is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Director of Channel Partnerships to lead the development and execution of our partner ecosystem strategy in the legal, privacy, security and data governance industry. This role is critical to expanding Transcend’s global reach and driving revenue growth by building and scaling partnerships across strategic global systems integrators (SIs), regional SIs, digital agencies, boutiques, and technology ecosystem partners. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in building high-impact partnerships, navigating complex partner ecosystems, and driving go-to-market success through a collaborative, cross-functional approach.

What you'll do

  • Develop and Execute Channel Strategy in Legal, Privacy, Security and Data Governance: Build and implement a comprehensive channel strategy that targets key partners within the legal, privacy, security and data governance space. Develop a partnership roadmap that aligns with Transcend’s overall business objectives and delivers measurable impact on revenue growth.
  • Build Strategic Global Partnerships: Identify, recruit, and onboard strategic global SIs, regional SIs, digital agencies, boutiques, and technology ecosystem partners. Develop and nurture relationships with key partners across all altitudes, focusing on joint value creation and long-term partnerships.
  • Drive Go-to-Market Success with Partners: Collaborate with partners to create go-to-market strategies that drive joint success. Develop co-selling, co-marketing, and co-delivery initiatives that enhance Transcend’s presence in the legal, privacy, and data governance markets. Ensure that all partner engagements are aligned with Transcend’s solutions and growth objectives.
  • Navigate Complex Legal, Privacy, Security and Data Governance Industry Dynamics: Understand the nuances and regulatory requirements within the legal, privacy, and data governance industry. Work with partners to address these complexities and ensure that Transcend’s solutions are positioned as trusted and compliant across all regions.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally to Deliver Partner Success: Partner with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal, and Customer Success, to ensure a seamless experience for partners and customers. Align internal stakeholders around key partner goals and ensure consistent execution on joint initiatives.
  • Optimize and Scale Partnership Programs: Continuously refine Transcend’s partner program, ensuring it is attractive to high-value partners across all levels. Optimize the structure of partnership tiers, incentives, training, and enablement to drive partner success and scale the program effectively.
  • Leverage Leadership Principles to Drive Team Success: Lead by example, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within the Channel Partnerships team. Implement best practices from leadership principles, focusing on adaptability, strategic foresight, and team optimization. Mentor and coach the team to drive performance and create a high-trust, high-performance environment.
  • Monitor and Measure Partner Performance: Establish and track KPIs for partner performance. Conduct regular business reviews with key partners to ensure mutual goals are being met and adjust strategies as needed. Use data-driven insights to inform decisions and continuously improve the partner ecosystem.
  • Foster Long-Term Relationships Across Ecosystems: Build long-lasting relationships with partners at all levels, from boutique agencies to large global SIs. Ensure a deep understanding of each partner’s business model, strategic initiatives, and how Transcend can support their success.
  • Strategically Manage Partner Ecosystem Across All Altitudes: Ensure Transcend builds strong relationships with partners across all altitudes—whether it's strategic global SIs, regional players, or smaller, boutique firms. Leverage these partnerships to penetrate new markets, enhance solution delivery, and expand Transcend’s market share in the legal, privacy, and data governance space.
Who you are
  • Experienced Channel Leader: You bring 7+ years of experience in channel partnerships, alliances, or business development, ideally with a focus on the legal, privacy, and data governance industries. You have a deep understanding of the regulatory and compliance landscape and how to navigate it within partner ecosystems.
  • Strategic Thinker and Relationship Builder: You excel at building long-term, strategic partnerships and navigating complex partner ecosystems. You understand how to leverage partners to drive mutual success and can create strategies that deliver value across all levels of the partnership network.
  • Go-to-Market Expert: You have experience developing go-to-market plans with partners, including co-selling, co-marketing, and co-delivery initiatives. You are skilled at aligning partner efforts with internal sales and marketing strategies to ensure a cohesive approach to market.
  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: You use data and performance metrics to track partner success, make informed decisions, and optimize partner programs. You have a strong ability to measure partner impact and continuously improve channel strategies based on performance insights.
  • Proven Cross-Functional Collaborator: You work effectively across Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal, and other teams to align partner initiatives with broader Transcend goals. You can influence and lead cross-functional teams to execute complex partner engagements.
  • Leadership and Team Builder: You are an experienced leader who can build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Channel Partnerships team. You foster a culture of trust, accountability, and transparency, ensuring that your team is aligned with Transcend’s objectives and consistently delivers results.
  • Adaptable and Resilient: You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and can lead your team through unexpected changes in the market or organization. You use strategic foresight to anticipate challenges and proactively address risks that may affect partnerships or revenue growth.
  • Experienced in Global and Regional Partner Ecosystems: You have a proven track record of working with global SIs, regional SIs, digital agencies, and technology partners. You know how to engage partners at various levels and build programs that cater to different market needs and business models.

For this role, the estimated annual OTE salary ranges are below. The actual annual salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The pay range for this role is:

220,000 - 270,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
