Our platform enables companies like Robinhood, Patreon, and Indiegogo to provide customers with control over their information. We allow these customers to request, identify, and delete their personal information from a growing suite of integrated companies: from Salesforce to Slack, Facebook, Zendesk, Intercom, and beyond.

Transcend is currently looking for a team player to join the Operations team. As the second member of the People Operations team, you’ll join a growing, and exciting company. As the future People Ops Associate you’ll be working closely with the People Operations team on creating a delightful people experience for everyone who works at Transcend and all candidates that interview for roles at Transcend. We believe in creating simple and seamless processes that are a pleasure to use.

What You’ll Do

  • Dedicate yourself to providing the best candidate and team member experience by owning recruiting efforts, including sourcing, engaging candidates, building a scalable pipeline, scheduling interviews, and more
  • Work and align with team leaders to ensure a successful hiring process, filling roles with the right candidates who are passionate about our mission, vision, and values
  • Co-create and implement effective Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs focused in recruiting, and on measurable results
  • Help write and iterate recruiting processes and guidance that are frictionless and easy to use, ensuring ease of use for our team members
  • Administer people processes, like pre-boarding/onboarding (e.g. IT setup, tech tools management, checklists), and offboarding, finding ways to automate and simplify them
  • Help administer trainings to help our people do their best work
  • Work closely with the People Operations Generalist, founders, and leaders to continually improve our team operations
  • Help address and improve the company’s metrics related to hiring goals, team member engagement surveys, and more to measure overall team member and candidate experience
  • Be a thought partner to improve feedback and review process for the entire team
  • Help strengthen our culture; lead bi-weekly team bonding events and company wide initiatives, like monthly All Hands and offsites to bring our remote team together for bonding, and strategic brainstorms. Overall be a strategic owner of our remote-first work model for the new year

Who You Are

  • You have 2-3 years of experience in Recruiting or People Operations
  • You are passionate about People Ops and Recruiting and are looking to grow a career in recruiting
  • You are eager to learn how to design and implement hiring and people processes
  • You love multitasking and and love creating order from chaos
  • You like a challenge, and you’re not afraid to try new things
  • You’re a creative thinker with a data-driven mindset
  • You take an entrepreneurial approach and have the ability to work independently or collaboratively
  • You have hands-on get-stuff- done mentality
  • You have a high comfort level with ambiguity and adaptability to change
  • You believe passionately that data rights are human rights, and you envision a world where users everywhere are in control of their personal data
