We’re seeking a Senior Quantitative UX Researcher to join our team at Trustpilot. You will be a key member of the UX Research team, collaborating with other researchers to increase the impact of your work, building out research operations and supporting other disciplines to conduct their own directional and validation research.
What you’ll be doing:
- Use advanced quantitative research techniques to analyze user data, represent the customer by advocating for data-driven insights within the company, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform and enhance user experience. You’ll focus on both critical, immediate projects and forward-looking initiatives that shape future experiences.
- Develop innovative quantitative methods for problem-solving, leveraging statistical tools and anticipating challenges to guide solutions effectively.
- Gather and communicate insights through quantitative data analysis, translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations that drive research and product decisions.
- Have an integral part in elevating research standards and user experience in product development by sharing quantitative insights in design feedback sessions and partnering closely with designers, product managers, and engineers across the organization.
- Collaborate with product designers to establish processes that transform data into actionable insights, influencing product strategy through rigorous analysis and data storytelling.
- Support the development of other researchers by demonstrating best practices, providing direct guidance on joint projects, and coaching them as they strengthen their quantitative skills.
- Create comprehensive research proposals that articulate the purpose of quantitative analyses, align stakeholders and teams, and clearly define project scope.
- Lead research initiatives and collaborate with designers to ensure a cohesive and data-informed experience across user journeys.
Who you are:
- 4+ years of quantitative UX research experience with a comprehensive previous experience with of handling broad and complex research projects that require deep data analysis and methodological rigor.
- Extensive experience in designing and executing innovative quantitative research plans to address complex problems, applying statistical methods and advanced analytics to uncover actionable insights.
- High-quality quantitative research outputs that set the benchmark for UX research standards, with a significant emphasis on data accuracy and reliability.
- Experience collaborating with product teams on roadmap planning to align research with key product milestones, identify knowledge gaps related to user behavior on new features or enhancements, and develop robust research strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Dedication to educating colleagues on quantitative research practices and statistical methodologies, developing a data-driven culture within the organization.
- Comprehensive portfolio of case studies that highlight quantitative analysis skills and showcase your expertise with impactful research projects.
- Growth mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving, enthusiasm for contributing to product development, and an enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
- Commitment to agile, team-based product development, with an appreciation for iterative processes and collaboration.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate complex quantitative insights clearly and effectively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with diverse teams and present data-driven findings in an engaging and accessible way.
