You’ll be leading designers of all crafts, working across the 5 cross-functional teams that make up the Onboarding & Growth squad here at Wise, designing the world’s best account opening experience. Helping millions of new customers get started on Wise quickly, securely and with zero hassle.

Here’s how you’ll be contributing

  • Collaborating with your Product and Engineering partners to lead the Squad, set the vision, define strategy and coach the teams to deliver it
  • You’ll be lead for all the designers in the squad. Directing their work, mentoring them and supporting them to grow
  • Planning and prioritising the work, hiring and onboarding new designers as needed
  • Working with Design leaders from other squads to build a single, seamless experience for customers
  • Using your Design Leadership skills to level up quality, maturity and alignment across the Onboarding & Growth squad.

About you:

  • You’re an accomplished Design Leader with several years experience leading teams to ship world-class consumer products
  • You have a sharp eye for quality, and you know how to support designers and team to deliver it
  • You’re influential and inspiring, able to lead others in a culture that values autonomy and empowerment
  • You’re highly empathetic, both to customers and the people you work with
  • You’re a trusted partner, building effective relationships with your peers across the business
