We’re looking to add a passionate and energetic Recruiter into our growing Recruitment Team at Wise in Tampa, FL! You’ll focus on high-volume hiring into our Customer Support, Payment Operations, and Compliance Operations teams here in Tampa and in São Paulo, Brazil

Your mission:

This Recruiter will own talent acquisition and management for our high-volume support and operational teams, helping those teams to scale to enable Wise to achieve our mission – money without borders! You’ll be a key member of a growing recruitment team with a focus on delivering exceptional talent while keeping candidate and hiring manager experience front and center of what you do.

  • We put our customers first, and the teams you’ll be hiring for will be the first point of contact for those customers, so you’ll be finding the best candidates possible to enable our teams to help more customers save money by having an excellent experience while using Wise
  • You’ll build world class, scaleable recruitment flows alongside the hiring teams with candidate experience, strategy, and process at the heart of data driven decisions – you’ve identified a potential efficiency that could also improve candidate experience? Great! Let’s try it
  • You’ll build, develop, and own relationships with with hiring teams, proactively guiding them through processes, talent planning, and candidate selection
  • Give our candidates an awesome experience, even if they weren’t successful (you never know, the perfect role might come up later ), and build a strong talent network in your geo’s of responsibility
  • You’ll continuously advocate our inclusive hiring practices and understand that diverse teams build better products for all customers and approach hiring with that mindset
  • Support other Recruiters and Recruitment Coordinators by being actively engaged in the global Recruitment and Employer Brand (REB) Team
  • Work with your Lead to use data to figure out the blockers to hiring, communicate how these can be addressed, and continually optimize the process to make sure it is scalable
  • You’ll partner with hiring teams, other People teams (e.g. People Operations {HR}), and other stakeholders to support various initiatives (e.g. referral programs, talent mapping, salary benchmarking, new hire onboarding, etc.)

A bit about you:

  • You have a proven track record of hiring exceptional talent while delivering an elevated experience to candidates and hiring teams – Previous recruitment experience is required
  • You’re passionate about recruitment – this is a people-focused job and you love working with people – finding the perfect person for a role genuinely excites you
  • You are an adaptable self-starter – someone who can use their own initiative to keep things running at pace and won’t need to wait for answers
  • You are confident working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR Information Systems (HRIS), and you can master new systems efficiently – if you have experience pulling and manipulating recruitment data, great! But we can also work with you on this if you haven’t
  • You are resilient and curious by nature – you like flipping ambiguity, failures, and set-backs on their head and using them as learning opportunities – you also have a growth-oriented mindset and feel that development is never “done” so you seek out feedback and areas of improvement
  • You are a creative problem solver. A tricky role won’t get you down, it’s just a challenge that spurs you on to find a new approach and try something new – you can adapt to frequent change and adjust your approach fluidly
  • You are a confident communicator and influencer, comfortable talking to people of any level, whether it’s in person, on the phone, or in writing – You understand how best to adapt your approach to your audience
  • Also,
  • You’ve got at least a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • If you speak any additional languages, particularly Portuguese, that’s an added bonus but not a requirement
  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS and/or Workday HRIS is also a bonus
  • You must already be legally authorized to work in the US, we cannot support Visa sponsorship for this role
  • This is NOT a remote position, this is a full-time position based in Tampa, Florida
