Nina Gerson is a Partner at Index Ventures in San Francisco where she invests in founders solving highly technical problems across AI, infrastructure and security. Having invested from the earliest bets through a company's journey to IPO, she looks for founders who pair the ambition to build a generational company with the relentless blocking-and-tackling of everyday startup life.
Before joining Index, Nina was a General Partner at Coatue, serving on the board or working with companies including Databricks, Rippling, Cyera, Island, and Legion Security. Prior to Coatue, Nina was an investor at CapitalG, Google’s investment arm. Nina started her career as an investment banker with Union Square Advisors.
Nina graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, where she was a goalkeeper on the NCAA championship-winning soccer team.
