Welcome, Paris Heymann!

In conjunction with the recent announcement of our NYC office, we are thrilled to welcome our newest partner, Paris Heymann. Paris is a native New Yorker who focuses on B2B SaaS and Data. Paris will join Adrianna, Damir, Martin, Rex, and Shardul to help build out our presence in New York.

Prior to joining Index, Paris was a partner at Arena Holdings where he invested globally in hyper-growth companies like Figma, ServiceTitan, and Celonis. At Arena he developed a unique investment style, applying the financial discipline of a concentrated public equity investor to venture capital and growth equity. Arena was one of the top-performing investment firms in the world during his tenure there.

Before Arena, Paris was at Bain Capital on the North America Private Equity team.

While at Bain, Paris worked on an investment alongside Richard Branson’s Virgin Group to launch a cruise line based in Miami, Virgin Voyages, which recently announced a new port in Barcelona as well as financial backing from athletes Venus Williams and Blake Griffin. He also worked on Bain’s investment in Bombardier Recreational Products, the Quebec-based maker of Ski-Doo snowmobiles and Sea-Doo watercrafts.

True to that mantra Paris studied Political Economy, a blend of both Economics and Political Science, graduating with honors from Williams College.

Although Paris will be based in New York, he will also spend time with Index in San Francisco and London. In his free time, he can be found reading, writing, exploring, and trying new fitness classes.
