Demand for ‘local by design’ AI agents fuels Wonderful’s growth

When Wonderful started building enterprise AI agents, their hypothesis was that there are vast 'AI deserts' – places around the world where US-centric approaches just don't work. Instead they set out to build AI agents that understand the culture, language, and complexities that only a true local would grasp.
The demand proved enormous. In less than a year, Wonderful has expanded into 30 countries across Europe, Middle East and South America, with Asia Pacific slated for early 2026. Co-founders Bar Winkler (CEO) and Roey Lalazar (CTO) have demonstrated exceptional execution, hiring and scaling faster than any of their peers. Today's $100M round will accelerate that expansion.

Wonderful combines a powerful AI platform with best-in-class deployment to deliver enterprise-grade, customer-facing AI agents across voice, chat, and email. Each agent is tailored for the market it serves – its language, cultural norms, and regulatory environment – as well as the customer's unique use cases, domain, and industry. Their voice AI detects and adapts to real-time conversational dynamics, picking up on age, gender, even whether multiple people have joined the call, and adjusts its tone and approach accordingly.
Fully integrated into internal systems, the AI agents powered by Wonderful's platform already handle tens of thousands of complex interactions every day – from resolving billing disputes to updating account details, diagnosing issues and scheduling appointments. With resolution rates above 80%, the vast majority of issues are solved without human intervention.
The company's approach of deep integration with enterprise systems and customization at the country level – with dedicated deployment teams on the ground – allows customers to extend agents into adjacent functions with little additional work. As founder and CEO Bar Winkler puts it: "The promise of AI agents is clear, but putting that into practice, and critically, into production, is a huge challenge. Founded in early 2025, Wonderful has grown at breakneck speed. The Series A was driven by fast growth in customer demand, rapid market expansion, and enterprises extending the platform into new use cases beyond its initial customer support focus. Major enterprises across Europe and the Middle East are already among its customers, with expansion to additional regions planned through 2026.
