Are you tired of being on the hamster wheel of public or private accounting? You just finished closing the books yesterday, only to have to start the process all over again today. Or perhaps you’ve audited things for said company during a “busy season” that stopped being particularly seasonal.Wouldn’t it be nice to kiss that life goodbye and work with folks who embrace change and constant improvement while sporting a modern stack of finance tools to save your precious time?
Welcome to Expel... we’d like you to help us do just that! For this role you’ll report to our Manager, Financial Reporting and join a rapidly-maturing, agile accounting team ready for whatever our future holds. We’ve adopted a “continuous close” approach that allows us to boast a speedy 2-day monthly close while maintaining our “customer service” reputation with other teams and still have bandwidth to knock out bigger key priorities and personal projects to help drive innovation and improvement in the overall business.
We like to say that accountants aren’t boring people, we just get excited over boring things. We’re on the lookout for someone that can match our enthusiasm for breaking through the status quo of accounting. This includes things like bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, reporting, tax compliance, audit preparations, etc.
We're not just looking for someone who can balance books but also someone who can balance humor with humility. If you're the type to share your last paperclip and tell accounting jokes that even your grandmother would giggle at, you're the one! If you're ready to join our fellowship and embark on epic financial adventures, hit the apply button and let the quest begin!
