About the Role



A technical role within Cyera's Data Solutions team under R&D group, bridging customer data challenges and product development. The team serves as the feedback loop between the field and R&D, ensuring customers maximize value from the platform while driving improvements to data security models, platform capabilities, and product functionality. The role combines hands-on problem solving for customer-specific use cases with long-term model tuning and product evolution, turning recurring customer needs into enhancements that benefit the broader customer base.

What You’ll Do

• Investigate customer environments by reviewing platform findings, alerts, and classifications to determine their accuracy, identify gaps or anomalies, and uncover opportunities to improve platform coverage and detection quality. Leverage SQL and quantitative analysis to validate findings at scale and develop customer-facing reports that demonstrate platform value and security insights.
• Drive the product feedback loop by translating recurring field observations into actionable recommendations for model tuning, product enhancements, and long-term R&D priorities.
• Collaborate with engineers and AI researchers on the design and development of features that improve data analysis, visibility, and customer outcomes.
• Build internal tools, automations, and workflows that improve team efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with datasets — including data analysis, manipulation, and deriving actionable conclusions.
• 2+ years of experience in an analytical or investigative role requiring the evaluation of complex information and decision-making under ambiguity. Demonstrated ability to critically assess findings, connect information from multiple sources, challenge assumptions, and develop well-reasoned conclusions. Relevant military, intelligence, research, or academic experience is also acceptable.
• 1+ years of hands on experience writing python scripts and basic programs.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams in English.
• Familiarity with AI tools (chatGPT, Gemini, Claude code, copilot, cursor etc’)
• Proven ability to diagnose and solve ambiguous, multi-layered technical problems
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in or with fast-paced startups or high-growth companies.
• Familiarity with code collaboration ecosystems like github.
• B.A./B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related analytical fields such as Law or Economics with a minor in a technical subject — or equivalent practical experience.
