Time is money, yet earning interest on cash has always been needlessly complex. Banks haven't exactly been incentivized to fix that. We built Spiko to change that: no conflict of interest, and an infrastructure that puts your cash to work every second of every day.
Founded in mid-2023 by Antoine and Paul-Adrien, Spiko delivers best-in-class cash management products for SMEs, startups, financial advisors and fintechs via an app or API. Unlike traditional brokers, we own the full value chain: we build the infrastructure to issue, manage, and distribute our products ourselves.
Our ambition is to build Europe’s top cash manager in a market worth trillions of euros.
We are backed by top-tier investors, including Index Ventures, the CEO of Revolut, the founder of Kyriba, and the CTO of Wise.
Spiko’s culture is built on excellence, transparency, open feedback, and humility.
The Role: CFO Community & Events Lead
As our first CFO Community & Events Lead, you will build and animate a thriving community of CFOs and finance leaders around Spiko. Through curated events, compelling content, and a dedicated newsletter, you will position Spiko as the go-to hub for forward-thinking CFOs across Europe, turning our clients and prospects into an engaged network and powerful advocacy engine.
Key Responsibilities
Build and grow Spiko's CFO community: Create a destination that CFOs genuinely want to be part of.
Plan and execute events: Own the end-to-end production of exclusive lunches, breakfasts, roundtables, and networking events for prospects and clients. Handle logistics, guest curation, speaker selection, and post-event follow-ups.
Launch and manage Spiko’s newsletter: Create a high-quality, recurring newsletter that delivers genuine value to CFOs, market insights, peer benchmarks, expert perspectives, to keep the community engaged between events.
Capture customer testimonials: Identify happy clients, produce compelling case studies and testimonials (written and video), and integrate them into our marketing and sales materials.
Produce content for our social channels and animate online forums: Write, coordinate, and publish content (articles, LinkedIn posts, video snippets, event recaps) that reinforces Spiko's thought leadership among finance decision-makers.
Develop co-marketing opportunities: Identify and engage relevant partners (accounting firms, CFO networks, industry associations) to amplify community reach.
Measure and optimize impact: Track community growth, event attendance, engagement metrics, and pipeline contribution. Use data to continuously improve formats, content, and outreach.
Community or event management experience: You have at least 3 years of experience building communities, organizing B2B events, or managing engagement programs, ideally targeting senior finance or C-level audiences.
Outstanding communication and writing skills: You are an excellent writer and storyteller, capable of producing content that resonates with sophisticated, time-constrained professionals. Native-level fluency in French and excellent English.
Strong organizational skills: You are rigorous and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple events and content deadlines simultaneously without dropping the ball.
Entrepreneurial mindset: You are creative, proactive, and highly ambitious, driven to play a key role in building a global leader in financial services, fully embracing the dedication and challenges this entails.
Autonomy: You are highly autonomous in managing the responsibilities of this role, reporting to the Head of Growth.
Deep interest in financial services and enthusiasm for Spiko's mission.
Education: You hold a degree from a leading business or engineering school.
Experience in B2B fintech, particularly in treasury, cash management, or wealth management.
An existing network among CFOs or finance professionals.
Proficiency in one or more European languages beyond English and French (e.g., Italian, Spanish, German, or Dutch).
