Our purpose

Every year, billions of clothing items are produced but never sold. Much of this unworn fashion ends up in landfills – a massive waste of creativity, craftsmanship, resources, and investment. We're here to change that. As a purpose-led company, we use technology to help fashion brands give every item a chance to be worn. And we’re proud to be a certified B Corp – recognised for meeting high standards of social and environmental impact, transparency, and accountability.


How we work

We’re a purpose-driven scale-up, based in Amsterdam and active across Europe, with a diverse and international team. Our mission is simple: sell unsold inventory. Otrium values a healthy work-life balance. We have adopted a flexible hybrid way of working, encouraging our team members to come to our open, spacious, plant-filled Amsterdam HQ at the waterside of Houthavens at least twice a week. Full-time office presence is welcomed, and you’re empowered to organise your schedule in a way that works for you and the team.


Your impact

Our team is responsible for the brand, our creatives, all copywriting and social media channels. We’re looking for a creative rockstar that wants to learn more about building a brand across various channels. Kick-start your creative career at Otrium and contribute to our purpose: “all clothing should be worn”.

  • Enrolled at a University in the Netherlands (for the entirety of your internship)

  • Studying a relevant degree for the internship (Marketing, Communications, Media or other creative fields)

  • Available from February for at least 5 months, 32 - 40 hours per week

  • Living within a 1-hour one-way commute from our Houthavens office (ideally)

  • Flexible, creative, proactive, social media-savvy, resourceful... with a great sense of humour!

  • Fluent in English - Dutch and/or German are a plus!

  • When needed, you’ll support in coordinating with printers, partners, responding to influencer (email) requests, organising digital assets and folders, and other ad-hoc tasks;

  • Assist with planning & operations across media channels, including our owned social media that you will take care of. This means you’ll have the chance to propose your own ideas and learn how to turn inspirations into reality for business impact.

  • Support with the content management of our platform — uploading content blocks according to our commercial calendar and pinning (visual order of items) of brand-led edits.

  • Assisting with translations through ChatGPT and/or coordinating freelance copywriters. Writing small lines of copy (as needed) for social media captions. Assist in building and managing a master copy bank with relevant marketing messages for Otrium.

  • Support the team with CRM and Social Analytics (newsletters, organic posts, TikTok, instagram, etc.).

  • Reach out to UGC (user generated content) creators.

  • Support research in market trends, brand partners and potential business partners (such as requesting quotes / other needs).
