Our purpose
Otrium is a purpose-led business – we see a future where all clothing is worn.
Every year, billions of items are produced globally but are never sold. Clothing goes unworn and often ends up in landfills. This is a huge waste of creative energy, labour, natural resources and investment. Otrium is changing fashion from the inside out: we are an online fashion outlet marketplace and we tech-enable designer brands to find an owner for every item they produce.
How we work
Founded and headquartered in Amsterdam, operating across Europe, Otrium is a start-up company whose diverse, talented and international team, works diligently and passionately to achieve one mission: Wear Over Waste. We have a hybrid set-up which offers flexibility and freedom to our O-Team - this means we encourage our (local) O-Team members to join together in our office based in the Houthavens, Amsterdam at least 2 days per week.
Job description
We are looking for a highly commercial and data-driven E-Commerce Merchandiser to join our growing Partnerships team within a fast-paced multi-brand, multi-category fashion marketplace. This role is ideal for someone with demonstrated experience in e-commerce merchandising and trading who is confident using data and customer insights to drive commercial decisions and performance.
Sitting at the intersection of supply, trading, and onsite merchandising, this role will support product selection across partner brands to ensure the right products are available at the right price and at the right time. The E-commerce Merchandiser will support weekly trade analysis and reporting, identify commercial opportunities and risks, and collaborate closely with Partnerships, Marketing, Pricing, and Data teams to optimize inventory performance, product visibility, and customer relevance across the platform.
The role will support in-season trading decisions, campaign planning, and onsite product merchandising, while helping drive commercial performance through effective stock management, sell-through optimisation, and end-of-lifecycle trading actions. Using trading insights, inventory availability, and key merchandising KPIs, the E-commerce Merchandiser will help optimise inventory productivity and customer conversion, while contributing to wider commercial and operational projects across the department.

Demonstrated experience in digital merchandising and e-comm platforms
Multi-year experience within the fashion industry, with a deep understanding of its dynamics and trends
Proven expertise in assortment planning, seasonal readiness, and inventory management.
Advanced data analysis skills, including proficiency in v-lookups, pivot tables, and complex formulas
Location: Amsterdam (or willing to relocate to Amsterdam)
Experience in the off-price fashion segment (optional)
Experience in (collaborating with) fashion buying (optional)
Experience in multi-brand environment (optional)
Execute merchandising selections and provide guidelines for new stock intake, aligning with market trends and commercial viability while working within the constraints of the off-price inventory business
Implement dynamic, data-driven strategies to ensure fast inventory turnover in a commercially sound way, coordinating trading actions with Partner Success Managers and proposing stock exit strategies for aged inventory
Monitor seasonal readiness at website and category level, improving product availability and ensuring timely updates, collaborating closely with our B2C/Marketing team to guarantee a seamless consumer experience and premium outlet platform appeal.
Gather data analytics and market knowledge to make informed assortment decisions, expanding stock intake in an optimized way and ensuring product size level availability is in line with consumer demand.
Foster consistent communication and collaboration across key teams (Marketing, Partnerships, Pricing) to ensure aligned goals and a unified approach.
