Otrium is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with a proven track record of establishing successful partnerships at a high growth scale up and/or retail company.
We currently have two roles open: one specific to Germany, and one specific to France.
As a Business Development Manager with Otrium you are responsible for consistently launching strategic partnerships, inspiring them in Otrium’s story and our purpose driven mission. This role is an Individual Contributor (no direct reports) role reporting into the Team Lead - Strategic Partnerships. Together you will create a strategy to meet individual KPIs.

An experienced commercial professional with 5+ years in Business Development within Fashion multi-brand e-commerce marketplace. experience in off-price a major plus

A collaborator: You are well-spoken, analytical, adaptable and consistently have a growth mindset. You easily establish strong working relationships across departments beyond partnerships.
A data and insights native: A keen strategic and analytical problem solver with the ability to understand and organise complex data into clear frameworks.
A strategic & critical thinker: You understand our business and ask the right questions to move the business forward. You consistently strive to find opportunities to make wider contributions to the team to maximise business impact, You bring new ideas and solutions to the team that energise and inspire.
A creative force: Knows how to captivate an audience of key stakeholders through clear communication, solid commercial acumen and highly professional presenting skills. Advanced knowledge of Google Suite; especially Google Slides and Google Sheets
A market expert: Clear understanding of the German / French (depending on location) markets with expert knowledge and pre-established contacts with local brands, retailers and marketplaces. Speaks English and German / French fluently
Location: Preferred fit to market (Berlin/Hamburg/Munich (DE) or Paris (FR)), but we're open to other locations!
Business Development
Launch strategic partnerships in order to build a world class off-price marketplace.
Identify new business opportunities across consignment models
Manage business development funnel of prospect partners to ensure monthly and quarterly targets are consistently achieved.
Consistently have outlook on MTD, QTD and YTD forecast.
Identify blockers and partner cross-functionally to improve internal processes.
Market Research and Expertise
Research and vet high-potential brands to build partnerships aligned with our vision
Monitor strategic developments, innovations, and best practices across competing marketplace platforms
Maintain strong market expertise, including emerging players, product trends, and commercial dynamics.
Strong understanding of Otrium’s unique value proposition and services, as well as the overall off-price landscape; surface ways to stay competitive in the market and refine UVP
